Happy New Year

In the past, New Years day has dawned Cold and Crisp – not this Year!

New Years Day 2011 dawned cloudy and damp – but despite that at the stroke of noon the passengers were on the platform waiting for the first train. These lucky people had the dubious honour of being our first riders for 2011. The rest of the day saw a steady stream of passengers, despite the drizzle which seemed to plague us all afternoon. Let’s hope it’s not a foretaste of what’s to come in the rest of the season.
