Visit to Rugby MES

Another great day playing trains – once again we were invited to bring our locos along to Rugby MES track at Rainsbrook on July 9th 2011 - and spend the day playing trains. As with last years visit the weather was once again “on our side” and several members along with their guests spent a fun day at their track. Ken Eyre tells me that there were over twenty visitors and, during the day, we had 11 different loco’s running.

From early in the morning the steaming bays saw a progression of locos onto the track and during the day there was a more or less constant traffic on their raised track

One Rugby member even brought his seven and a quarter loco along and during the afternoon some of our members could be seen trying out the Big Boys Toys.
